MY BIOGRAPHY
Being part of the team at the beautiful Van Buren Gentlemen's Salon makes me very proud!
I graduated from The Academy of Barbering Arts in Los Angeles and passed the exam from the State of California's Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. Upon receiving my license, I opened my own barber shop there which became very successful.
In 2011 I moved to Chicago and became licensed by the State of Illinois, too.
Come treat yourself with a visit to VB Gents! I will be happy to cut your hair in the style of your choosing, or I can suggest a fresh, modern look appropriate for you. As part of your service, I can also give you a relaxing, hot lather straight-razor shave.

Besides loving the Barbering profession, for many years I was General Superintendent for a corporation which owned several golf courses around the southern California area, and along the way I earned a degree in Ornamental Horticulture from Los Angeles Pierce College.
